If you installed Itemstats 1.25.9.4 manually on SMF 1.1.8 it should be possible to upgrade to the new version without uninstalling the old version. You can download it here: http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=247 I'm working on a version for SMF 2.0 RC1 and on support for spells and quests. I'm actually looking at SMF2 RC3 now... No worries if you don't have the time. I'm thinking of writing something up myself. It all depends on how motivated I get

Creating a new site and hoping to use the latest SMF. I'm hoping to put Itemstats on it as well.

I'm running the test forum on my own pc so there is no firewall settings and it uses the itemstat package fine. But when I'm on the server the package doesn't work as there is proxy settings. The OS is debian and I think I have set the system wide proxy settings. So I get the following error messages on my SMF Forum error logs:
2: file_get_contents(hxxp:wow.allakhazam.com/cluster/item-xml.pl?witem=45326 [nonactive]) [<a href='function.file-get-contents'>function.file-get-contents</a>]: failed to open stream: Connection timed out File: /var/www/smf/Sources/itemstats/includes/HTTPDownloader.php function downloadUsingSocks: 110 Connection timed out function downloadUsingFOpen: Sorry something went wrong... Anyone know where if possible that I can set the proxy? Do I set it somewhere in the SMF? I've tried setting it on my server as system wide by putting the proxy in /etc/profile and /etc/environment. I tried to look for proxy settings in itemstat and also SMF but can't find anywhere that you can set the proxy. Thanks! |

It's actually the same problem here as well!
Anyone running Firefox 3.5, please reply and confirm whether the background when mouseover the link below is transparent or just black: [item]Maladath, Runed Blade of the Black Flight[/item] |

Hey!
Here's me hoping there's still some life on this forum. ![]() I'm using a semi-old, customized version of DarkCloud's SMF Itemstats and ever since Firefox 3.5 I've lost transparency in the itemboxes during mouseover. Instead it's an ugly black background. Transparency still works in FF 3.0 and IE 7.0/8.0 so it's definitely FF 3.5 causing it but I just cannot get to where the problem lies. Any suggestions? |

Anyone needing the button code and realising the top link is now obsolete then this is the code you need to add to the post.template in your themes folder, just look for the bbc tags array
Quote // The below array makes it dead easy to add images to this page. Add it to the array and everything else is done for you! If you look properly you can tell from the 2 arrays what each line is for so you can add the button code to appear in the right position you need. Code: 'itemstats' => array('code' => 'itemstats', 'before' => '[wowitem]', 'after' => '[/wowitem]', 'description' => $txt['itemstats']), 'img' => array('code' => 'img', 'before' => '[img]', 'after' => '[/img]', 'description' => 'wowitem'), You will need to add a .gif to your themes images/bbc folder called itemstats.gif 35x35 and then you should be able to see a wowitem button in the forums. Hope this is some help to anyone needing the button. |
